Norway King Crab

Rikke Stabell is a young fisherman from Havøysund, she is crew on “Hamnetind”. Skipper is her father Tor-Bjarne Stabell. She has been at sea and fishing since she was very young. Rikke is a Finnmark girl who grew up on a fishing boat, has a degree in fisheries from the University of Tromsø, and who daily works in a consulting company within the aquaculture industry. Rikke is a good example where young people from the coast, with fisheries education, can help create ripple effects and understanding between traditional fisheries and the aquaculture industry.
