Raymond Dahl is a young fisherman from Vadsø who has been in the profession since 2016. He fishes with his 35 feet vessel called “Maiken-Jenta”. His boat is equipped for pots and line operations. He has quota for whitefish in open group for small coastal vessels, as well as king crab quota. Raymond has previously worked with luggage at Oslo Airport. At length this became too boring and he longed north to Vadsø. The fishing profession gives him a lot of freedom and good income. Raymond’s great passion is salmon fishing in rivers in the summer and elk hunting in the fall.
