Norway King Crab

Nils Petter Nilsen has been a fisherman for over 40 years, he now fishes with his boat called “Kristine” which is 9.2 meters long. During the year he fishes for cod, saithe and king crab. Nils Petter is one of the few fishermen who still do sea salmon fishing in the summer. Nils Petter is from Alta and in 2021 he had his first year as a crab fisherman in the quota area. The largest crab he has caught has been 6 kg. Nils Petter also has a career as a carpenter and as a sailor. In his free time he likes to be with his family and go for walks in nature.
