Mikkel Mikkola is from a beautiful place in Finnmark, a place called Pollen, which is on the island Stjernøya. There are not many permanent residents in Pollen, but people who have connections there keep returning, for holidays and free time. Watch this film from Pollen. Mikkel has been a fisherman all his working life. He is now fishing with his 10.49 meter long “Sjøpia”. His boat is rigged with nets for cod fishing and pots for crab fishing. When Mikkel is not fishing, he takes his children on hunting and fishing trips.
