Frank Idar Johnsen has been a fisherman since 2010 and has 9 seasons behind him as a crab fisherman. Frank Idar home port is Vadsø and fishes with his 34-feet vessel “Steffen jr.” He fishes cod, haddock and saithe with quotas coastal vessels. He fishes with the nets, jigging and pots. In his previous career Frank Idar worked as a carpenter. He enjoys the fishing life and the freedom this job gives him. Frank Idar’s great passion is fishing for salmon. Life is wonderful when he can stand in the river on bright summer nights and wait for the big salmon.
