Dag Steve comes from Kirkenes nearby the Russian boarder and is a newly established fisherman. He comes from a job in the local newspaper and where he was technically responsible for the actual printing of the newspaper. Dag Steve has always wanted to be a fisherman so a short time ago he made the decision to follow the dream and quit his job in the newspaper and became self-employed. He fishes with his 32 feet large “SOLBRIS”. Dag Steve tells us that over the last few months he has learned a lot, he has tried and failed, but he has no regrets of his decision. Fishing life has freedom, effort and it is a great satisfaction to hunt for good catches. In his spare time, Dag Steve is at his cabin by the sea, where he is fishing for wild salmon in the summer.
