Arturas Alsauskas homeport is Vardø, he fishes with his 33 feet boat named “Nordvag”. Arturas was born in Lithuania, and he came to Norway in 2013. The first three years he worked in the fish farming industry. In 2017, he decided to be a fisherman and bought his own boat. He has carried out 2 crab seasons and the largest crab he has caught was 5 kg. When the crab quota is taken, he fishes cod, haddock and pollock the with fish quotas for small wessels. In his spare time, he likes to be with his family. Arturas is fond of kiting. In the winter he kites on the Varanger peninsula with snowboarding. With good wind he can get a speed on the snowboard up to 100 km/h.
